Opened in 2010, the goal of Ah’ Pizz was to create a pizzeria that serves authentic, Neapolitan pizza and to bring fresh ingredients and the art of pizza-making to downtown Montclair, NJ. Pizza at Ah’ Pizz is delicately prepared using imported, Italian ingredients and cooked for less than 90 seconds in a wood-fired stone oven. This artisan approach to pizza-making was a first for the area, and patrons soon started coming from all over New Jersey to experience it.
Been coming here for years and always walk away pleased. Grandma pie, calamari balsamico, goat cheese fritters, Eva & cheese steak top our list of favorites. I can't comment on dinners since we always stick with pizzas, sandwiches and appetizers, but if you are in the area definitely stop by and give them a try!
Their rigatoni vodka is unreal. I could eat the sauce by the spoonful as if it were soup. It is sooooo incredibly tasty. If I lived closer, I would come back just to get containers of their sauce. Come here and try this dish- you will not be disappointed. And ask for a side of bread so you can get every last bit of sauce.
I absolutely love this place!! Their garlic bread is probably the best thing on the menu! And the staff is always nice and the ambience is great. I love when there is live music.
